    Ministry of National Defense held the “Provisional Regulations of Voluntary Military Service and 2016 Admission Guide Tour Seminar” at Republic of China Marine Corps Command in Zuoying. Participants understood the overview of “voluntary military service” through briefings. The seminar improved the recruitment of voluntary officers and soldiers and promoted the military as an excellent, strong, and skillful powerhouse. In the morning, Under Secretary of Ministry of National Defense Lieutenant General Wang, Hsin-Long hosted the seminar and gathered officers above brigade union soldiers (inclusive) and responsible personnel in South Taiwan to attend. In addition to briefings from Resource Planning Division and Human Resource Deputy Chief Office, comprehensive discussions were also held to achieve the goal of policy advocacy and opinion exchange. 

　Under Secretary Wang indicated that after the voluntary military service was promoted gradually, Ministry of National Defense planned the “Provisional Regulations of Voluntary Military Service” and perfected the supporting measures for “remuneration, dignity, and employment opportunity”. As of October 16, 2015, the actual number of recruitment exceeded 15,000 people, which has reached the goal of 14,000 people. Under Secretary Wang hoped that participants could continuously work with each other and strive for recruitment. He encouraged cadres of all levels to thoroughly understand the admission guide and supporting measures for the voluntary military service and apply substantial acts and propaganda channels to promote the advance study, extensive learning locations, and license training implemented by the military.

　In the seminar, responsible personnel reported “Formulation and Description of Provisional Regulations of Voluntary Military Service”, “2016 Voluntary Soldier Selection Operation”, and “Overview of 2015 Military Advance Study and License Training”, so as to let every unit and cadres understand current acts and mechanisms for the promotion of voluntary military service and obtain correct information, and to ensure the success recruitment.
